Ava Lasmanis has been chosen by a Graduate School committee, based on the recommendation of the German Ph.D. program, to receive a prestigious 1-year Tisch Foundation Endowed Fellowship. This special fellowship recognizes extraordinary performance and promise among Brown first-year graduate students and also comes with an enhanced stipend. Only 10 such Tisch Foundation Endowed Fellowships were awarded in total to first-year doctoral students across all of Brown.
